Our co-packing operations run alongside our main stockholding in order to add the most value with the least amount of touch points. We carry out activities tailored to customers needs, including; reboxing and bagging products, packaging changes, clip strips, promotional wraps, multi-packs, and gift pack assembly.
Our auto-boxing technology boxes single or multiple items with speeds of up to 500 packages an hour. Not only is auto-boxing highly productive, it reduces the amount of packaging waste throughout the supply chain. It automatically measures, constructs, weighs and labels each package in one seamless process.
We are passionate about reducing packaging and delivering sustainable packaging solutions as we create more sustainable supply chains for our customers.
In 2019 we removed 120 tonnes of single use plastic from our Sky operation, which included the introduction of reusable returns bags for engineers. Using best practice we implement plastic free initiatives across all the supply chains we touch, including specialised lids for containers and pallets, paper tape, and our plastic free packaging designs, all resulting in a cost saving.
