Digital Maturity Assessment Privacy Notice


Unipart Group, registered at Companies House (00576777) is a manufacturing and logistics company which provides a set of products and services which create imaginative solutions for its customers. 

Unipart is carrying out this survey in order to better understand the digital readiness for the medical device market.

Unipart (“Our”, “We”, “Us”) is the data controller and is committed to protecting the rights of individuals in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and/or other relevant data protection legislation (“Data Protection Law”).

This Privacy Notice explains who we are, the personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what your legal rights are.

 

What data do we hold?

If you do take part in this study, we will collect the information you provide when you complete the online survey. If you contact us for any reason regarding this study we will also use any additional contact information you may provide in order for us to respond to your request. 

Why do we collect this data and on what legal ground(s) do we process your personal data?

Responding to this survey is entirely voluntary and any answers are given with your consent. Unipart will keep your personal data and treat your responses in confidence and you will not be identifiable in any results. 

Only anonymous results of this study will be made available to those who completed the survey and those accessing the report via our website. We will also be publishing insights on Linkedin and sending these to those organisations who requested this through their preferences in the survey.

Who has access to your personal data and to whom is it disclosed?

Unipart will be using Google Forms to help us run this study for the purpose of understanding the digital readiness of the supply chain/medical device market.

  • Google sheets – for the purpose of receiving and collating the survey responses from you 
  • Google Forms- for the same purpose as above.

Access to your information will also be shared with Unipart’s employees who are involved in administering this survey only.   

For how long do we retain your data?

We will only retain personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it is collected. In practice this means we will retain your personal data up to 2 years after which we will delete your data from our systems.

 

How do we protect your data?

Unipart takes its information security responsibilities seriously and applies various precautions to ensure your information is protected from loss, theft or misuse. Security precautions include appropriate physical security of offices and controlled and limited access to computer systems. Only Unipart’s employees who need access to relevant parts or all of your information will be authorised to do so. 

Do we transfer your Personal Data outside the European Economic Area? 

Unipart does not transfer your personal data outside of the UK and/or EEA. All of your Personal Data is processed and stored within the UK. 

What are your rights? 

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right to withdraw your consent –  You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without providing an explanation. 

Your right of access – You have the right to access your personal data and to ask us for copies of your personal information and survey. 

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete. 

Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
