Unipart House Team of Runners Raise £2,600 for the Oxford Children’s Hospital

A team of 19 enthusiastic Unipart employees from Unipart House, Oxford took part in the recent OX5 run at Blenheim Palace, running under the aptly named “Unipart Rarely Athletic Team”. Although some of the team were recent converts to running 5 mile distances, the team finished an admirable 4th in the team competition.

However, the real reason for this team taking on the challenge was to raise money for the Oxford Children’s Hospital. They joined over 1,181 other fundraisers to raise funds for this deserving local charity which aims to make life that little bit easier for young patients looked after by the hospital every year.

The team raised an amazing £2,600 for the hospital. Commenting on the day, David Adams said ” It was a great day, with a great atmosphere and more importantly, all for a great cause!”

Congratulations to the whole team – David Adams, Hayley Dry, Julie Oliver, Justin Merritt, Penny Reason, James Lackman, Nicola Prior, Nick Judd, Lucy Honour, Deborah Astles, Gemma Culverwell, Paul Rowbotham, Julia Strutt, Paul Layland, Peter Collins and Di Elsmore for their athletic and financial efforts.
