Unipart House Gets into the World Cup Spirit

Colleagues at Unipart House are well known for supporting local charities and the communities they live in – but this week saw Unipart House supporting children and young adults in the small community of El Dorado in one of the World Cup hosting venues of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Mark Heelis, who works for the Environment Agency by day, and coaches the Oxford United “Oxford Casuals” team in his spare time, has been collecting football shirts for over 600 disadvantaged children and young adults in the small community of El Dorado in Sao Paulo.

Working with the charity Acer, he is donating football shirts to raise awareness of the critical work that the charity is doing to challenge the high levels of alcohol and drug abuse in this small community.
Mark, who has been collecting football shirts since January 2014 said “It’s been great to have the support of Unipart; I now have over 500 shirts to take over to Brazil with me which will be a great boost for the kids over in El Dorado!”
