There are 7.6m working age people in the UK with a disability, how many work in your business?

A conference focusing on the talents that people with disabilities can bring to business and how to recruit a diverse workforce is being held at Unipart House on December 5.

The Disability Confident scheme supports employers  to make the most of the talents disabled people can bring to your workplace.

Organisations who are disability confident can help play a leading role in changing behaviour and culture though inclusive and diverse recruitment practices. This event is about showing you how and dispelling common myths associated with dealing with disability in the workplace. Such as a fear that it is costly, time consuming or that a person with a disability cannot perform tasks as well.

The event is sponsored by Unipart and is being delivered in partnership by Activate Learning, Oxfordshire Business First, OxLEP, and Job Centre Plus
