Unipart employees aiming to exercise around the world in just 3 days for charity

A team of seven will lead the way in this epic charity challenge, which takes place from Thursday 2nd November to Saturday 4th November. They will also have support from colleagues across the UK and China, who will assist them in clocking up the miles by taking part in activities such as walking, running, cycling and rowing to achieve a total distance of 25,000 miles — the same as the circumference of the earth.

Claire Walters, Chief Commercial Officer at Unipart Logistics said: “We enjoy a challenge at Unipart Logistics and this is certainly our biggest yet, which will give all our colleagues an opportunity to contribute and raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

“This is a charity that we are proud to have a long history of supporting, and one which is very close to all our hearts. We know that the money we raise will make a real difference to people with cancer, who rely on the services provided by Macmillan Cancer Support.”

Andrea Pritchard Macmillan Fundraising Manager for Oxfordshire said: “Thank you so much to all the team at Unipart Logistics for taking on this gruelling challenge. We are so grateful for their support because it means we will be able to do even more for people living with cancer and their families.”

“Best of luck to all Unipart Logistics staff who are running, rowing, cycling and walking their way around the world, you are amazing!”
