The entire Unipart Oxford site came together on Friday 14th November to raise money for Children in Need. Cakes were made by staff from all areas to be sold at the cake sale held in The Art Room. Employees made donations to dress down in spots or stripes.
The Lean Machine, the Unipart health and fitness club, also encouraged people to take part in the 12 hour gym marathon. Staff were challenged to keep the machines continually running from 6.00am to 6.00pm. If anything, it was the perfect opportunity to work off the cakes bought earlier! The total money raised from these events was an amazing £1073.61 thanks to all those who made cakes, bought cakes (and ate them), dressed down in spots and stripes or took part in the gym marathon.
