UEES, Unipart’s manufacturing site in Coventry, continues to develop strong community links with Holbrook Primary School, which located adjacent the site.
For the third year running, our Manufacturing Group is supporting and enabling the study of science, technology, engineering and maths topics with the very youngest people in our community.
With both financial support and guidance from our engineers, sixty Year 6 pupils are designing, manufacturing, testing and evaluating a powered vehicle. To bring it to life, Aston Martin brought in a prototype vehicle to enhance the learning experience.
The winning team, a group of all girls, were presented with the UEES Technology Trophy. The relationship with Holbrrok Primary School is now in its fifth year and goes from strength to strength, exciting young children and showing how the concepts they learn In maths and science can be made a reality
