Our expertise covers everything from the supply of critical components to the maintenance, repair, and life-extension of systems, helping to extend the operational life of signalling assets.
With a focus on performance improvement, we provide flexible, innovative solutions that minimise disruptions and reduce the need for costly replacements.
These are just a few of the thousands of signalling solutions we offer into the railway. Get in touch to discuss needs or request full details.
Improves network safety, increases reliability delivers cost savings.
The Mk3 CLS is the latest development of the Unipart Dorman signal range and builds on 25 years of customer feedback and technology advances to deliver a world beating signal aspect which improves network safety, increases reliability and delivers improved whole life operational costs.
Our Wayside Signalling range has been developed for the North American market and fully integrates with existing housing styles.
Unipart Dorman’s Wayside – SearchLITE signal series has been developed with close industry collaboration to provide a unique solution. The LED light sources deliver innovation with universal value and provide a long and predictable life, giving huge benefits to railroad operators.
A complete level crossing solution, functionally proven and pre-tested offsite to ensure reliable, time-saving installation.
Our Level Crossing solution is designed to be manufactured, tested and stored off site ahead of installation. The system is adaptable to suit location specifics. This innovative approach minimises disruptive possession requirements for commissioning and enables thorough testing in a safe environment.
Seamless integration with existing railway infrastructure.
Unipart and Newgate are working in partnership to allow Newgate barriers to be installed on any 24V scheme to offer a significant reduction in operational and maintenance costs. Applicable for life extension or new installations. Newgate’s electromechanical barriers are engineered for extended maintenance cycles, requiring 2 and 5 yearly inspections.
Unparalleled visibility and warning systems at railway crossings.
Our innovative Rail Barrier Boom Lamps are engineered to provide unparalleled visibility and warning signals at railway crossings, ensuring maximum safety for both pedestrians and vehicles, minimising the risk of accidents.
With a new increased size for improved visibility and optimal lens enhancement, this design is retrofittable onto existing barriers with a proven design of over 20 years no failures.
Seamless integration with existing railway infrastructure.
Backed by years of successful implementation, our signals have demonstrated their effectiveness in alerting motorists and pedestrians to the presence of oncoming trains, significantly reducing the risk of accidents. A cost-effective solution with reduced construction time on site.
Minimising downtime and streamlining operations, the wig wag is delivered to site mounted onto the post and reduces the risk of accidents.
Allows preliminary on-site testing of BR930 relays.
Sparta is a relay Portable Test Unit designed to allow preliminary testing of a wide range of BR930 line and track signalling relays. It provides the Signalling Engineer with the ability to confirm the basic condition of a relay before it is inserted into the circuit. It also assists in establishing the root cause of signalling failures prior to replacing relays.
REMOSdl: recording & Monitoring of SSI Data Links.
REMOSdl is a tool to monitor and collect the data on SSI trackside data links, via direct connection to the baseband data link and allow comparison of recently collected telegrams with previously collected telegrams.
REMOSdl also provides faulting assistance to the technician when data link problems occur, e.g. following a lightning strike, allowing faster restoration of the link. It’s a portable unit and can easily be transported to location cases for Investigation of data link problems.
An innovative digital signalling system to enhance passenger experience and optimise train operations
The National Request to Stop is a digital signalling system that improves efficiency and safety over manual methods. By eliminating the need for trains to slow down where no passengers are waiting, it ensures timetable resilience and significantly reduces fuel consumption, emissions, and brake wear.
Seamless integration with existing railway infrastructure.
Location cases/cabinets (LOCs) provide secure environment to house railway signalling equipment, switchgear, communications networking and E&P equipment. Unipart has decades of experience in fitting out & supporting the design of the internal arrangements to house all the required equipment and each are manufactured to individual design specifications.
