Unipart wins third consecutive British Safety Council treble

For the third consecutive year, Unipart has won a British Safety Council treble by winning the Sword of Honour (safety), Shield of Honour (wellbeing) and Globe of Honour (sustainability).

This recognition follows Unipart achieving three five-star ratings from the British Safety Council (BSC), in its Environmental Sustainability, Occupational Health and Safety, and Workplace Wellbeing audits in September.

Andy Pyne, Unipart Chief Sustainability Officer, said: “Securing this treble for the third year running is a historic achievement and a powerful testament to the culture we have built at Unipart. It is driven by the daily engagement and commitment of every single one of our colleagues. We are delighted to be the first business to achieve this level of sustained, integrated excellence across safety, wellbeing, and sustainability.

“This world-class recognition means we can serve our customers in the best way possible by ensuring they are partnered with an organisation that places people and planet at the heart of performance. While we celebrate, we never stand still, and are already focused on continuous improvement to raise the bar even higher next year.”

Mike Robinson, Chief Executive of British Safety Council, said: “Huge congratulations to Unipart on their achievements again this year, I applaud them for continuing to reach new levels in keeping their workplace safe and healthy, and contributing to safeguarding the environment. Unipart was the first organisation to win all three Honour awards more than once, and they maintain this commitment and willingness to achieve the uppermost standards. We thank them for contributing to achieving our vision that no-one should be injured or made ill through their work.”
