Unipart receives Distinction at International Safety Awards

Unipart has received a Distinction in the International Safety Awards for the 12th consecutive year. This prestigious award from the British Safety Council acknowledges organisations who have demonstrated an “unwavering commitment to excellence in health, safety, and wellbeing management.”

The independent judges specifically commended Unipart’s focus on wellbeing, highlighting the comprehensive training, development, and resources provided to support colleagues, leaders, and their essential Mental Health First Aiders.

The International Safety Awards celebrate organisations globally that have shown a commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health. To achieve a Distinction, organisations must score 50 or more out of a possible 55 marks in the rigorous assessment. This includes demonstrating a proactive approach to health, safety, and wellbeing management throughout the previous calendar year. Unipart has a strong track record with the British Safety Council, having also received numerous Sword of Honour awards in previous years for their world-class safety and environmental management.

Andy Pyne, Chief Sustainability Officer, Unipart, said: “A huge thank you to all our colleagues and leaders who made this possible, for prioritising health, safety and wellbeing on a daily basis.

“At Unipart, we believe that every colleague plays a role in preventing harm and promoting a proactive safety culture, and we aim to create a workplace where everyone is protected, supported, and empowered, embedding safety into daily operations and culture.

“A fantastic achievement and one we can all be proud of here at Unipart.”
