Unipart has been awarded the prestigious Advanced Capability Recognition from The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT(UK)). This is the highest level of recognition awarded by CILT and reflects Unipart’s deep integration of organisational purpose, culture, and operational excellence.
This recognition acknowledges that at Unipart, capability is not treated as a standalone HR process, but is integrated into the organisation’s operating model. The CILT assessment highlighted Unipart’s clear and structured approach, with The Unipart Way providing a recognisable framework for behaviours, values, and expectations.
The CILT report commended Unipart for creating a connected employee experience, from a multi-faceted onboarding programme to robust performance reviews, graduate schemes, apprenticeships, and succession planning. A key theme praised by the assessors was Unipart’s strong cultural approach to continuous improvement and inclusion. The report states, “Unipart also promotes and champions that colleagues show a healthy dissatisfaction with the status quo.” This mindset is supported by practical tools and development opportunities, including Six Sigma training and problem-solving workshops, which empower colleagues to challenge existing practices in a safe and structured environment.
