Jim Hartshorne, Managing Director – Commercial at Unipart, has been appointed to the Logistics UK President’s Council.

Established in May 2023, the Council serves as a high-level forum for senior leaders across the logistics, manufacturing, and supply chain sectors. The group plays a pivotal role in addressing critical, long-term industry opportunities and tackling systemic challenges. By shaping campaigning priorities, the Council ensures the sector remains resilient, efficient, and forward-looking.

Jim joins a group of CEOs and Directors from across the industry – including representatives from DHL, GXO, Heathrow Airport, Howard Tenens, Malcolm Group, Nestlé, Royal Mail, Segro, Tesco, and Volvo – to collaborate on driving the sector forward.

At Unipart, we believe that strategic collaboration is essential to building resilient and sustainable supply chains. Through the Council’s forums, Jim will engage with senior decision-makers to share critical insights from our operations and help guide national policy.
