The Challenge
A major luxury automotive brand’s operations in China, which serves over 138 dealerships across the country, required a logistics partner that could meet the high standards of a luxury automotive brand.
They were looking for a supplier who could satisfy their expectations regarding digital capabilities and operational efficiency for their marketing warehouse.
The core challenge for the project was threefold:
- Successfully transfer over 5,000 SKUs from the existing supplier to the new Unipart-operated facility while ensuring zero impact on dealer operations.
- Drastically improve inventory control, as the initial inventory discrepancy reached 6.86% before transfer to Unipart.
- Enhance the overall digital and intelligent level of warehouse operations to significantly improve efficiency.
