Adrien Gallet, Senior Computational Design Engineer at Unipart, has been named Engineer of the Year at the 2026 Offsite Awards.
The award recognises Adrien’s contribution to developing the advanced digital design and optimisation capability that underpins Unipart’s industrialised construction solutions.
Adrien has played a leading role in developing Unipart’s digital configurators, which use parametric modelling and automated structural optimisation to accelerate design, optimise material usage, and connect design directly with manufacturing.
These connected workflows support rapid iteration and provide earlier visibility of structural performance, cost, embodied carbon, and lead time. This gives project teams greater certainty earlier in the RIBA design process, while fabrication-ready outputs enable a smoother transition into precision manufacture.
The capability supports accurate, highly configurable solutions developed around project and component-level requirements, improving build certainty and enabling repeatable delivery at scale.
Unipart and PCE are working together across a number of completed and ongoing projects, combining Unipart’s advanced digital design and manufacturing capability with PCE’s HybriDfMA expertise to industrialise the delivery of modern construction.

Adrien’s recognition formed part of a double success for Unipart at the 2026 Offsite Awards. Together with SES Engineering Services, Unipart also won Best Use of MEP & Pod Technology for the multi-storey MEP frame solution for a major Ministry of Justice project.
