Unipart’s drive-in movie event helps raise funds for Maggies

Film-goers at Unipart’s recent “American Style” drive-in movie event have helped raise funds for Maggies.

Part of the Photography Oxford festival, the drive-in movie event at the Cowley headquarters was a great success. Local residents and businesses enjoyed five nights of films on a giant inflatable pop up cinema screen in the company’s car park.

Unipart has been supporting Maggie’s with a series of fundraising activities throughout 2014, so used the pop up cinema event to help raise awareness for Maggie’s and the excellent work that it does and the generous film goers kindly donated £260 to the charity.

Maggie’s is a charity with centres located in the grounds of major NHS cancer hospitals, offering support that people with cancer, and their friends and relatives, desperately need.
