Unipart’s HR specialists have teamed up with a local mental health charity, Oxfordshire Mind, to offer job and interview skills training for volunteers that work with people who have experienced mental ill health.
The workshops have led to over half of the participants finding employment or volunteering opportunities to consolidate and build upon their skills and experience.
Feedback from the initial workshops has been very positive, with one particpant commenting, “There were many aspects of job hunting which I had not considered or had not been aware of … the role plays and group work were excellent”.
