Marathon cycle at Unipart House raises over £800 for Children in Need


A 12-hour gym marathon took place at Unipart House to fund raise for the BBC’s Children in Need campaign.The total sum raised was £882.71.

Staff were able to join in by exercising in 10-20 minute slots on chosen piece of gym equipment; either a bike, rowing machine or cross trainer.

Two members of staff; Craig Kane (Lean Machine) and Kevin Campbell (Facilities & Maintenance) took up the challenge to cycle for the 12 hour duration. They were both successful with this and a combined distance of 578 miles was achieved.

Staff also had a dress down day with the theme of wearing something with spots and/or stripes. A cake sale was also held in The Art Room.
